Founded in 2002, Maine Earth Institute (MEI) provides resources for individuals who seek to accept personal responsibility for Earth.  We are an all-volunteer organization whose mission it is to educate about the world we would like to leave for future generations.  We meet our mission by offering courses, programs, events, and non-profit umbrella for projects that support and match our mission.  We have no office, no overhead, and no one gets paid in our organization other than those with whom we do business.  If you would like to become a volunteer with us, we would welcome  your involvement.
